Hey there! I’m Jessica and I founded Flying with Four in 2018 to share all there is to know about surviving life with kids! My love of travel, cooking, crafting, and organization are all key components of why I am here today. I’m a mom of four young children (born in 2010, 2012, 2014 & 2017) living in the San Francisco Bay Area. I am also a proud wife of 10 years and a kindergarten teacher. I am your every day mom, working hard to provide for my family, all while juggling the realities of mommyhood and well, life. I love adventures, all things Disney, and being outdoors. I enjoy planning for family vacations, as much as I enjoy going on the vacations (well, almost). I equally love spending time at home, especially during the holiday seasons. I am equal parts “realist” and “pinterest” mom. I seek balance in all that I do in my daily life – and hope to share some of those secrets with you!
I have known since I was young that I wanted to be a mommy and have a large family. I told my husband that I was having 4 kids with or without him. And surprise! We now have four kids – 2 boys and 2 girls. I usually get one of two comments as I walk through my day to day life with my kids. “You sure have your hands full.” OR “You make it look so easy.” I will tell you that yes, I have my hands full (hello, anyone with kids has their hands full?!) but most days I try my best to plan, prepare and execute the day to set myself and the kids up for success. I try to maintain an “I can.” attitude with all things surrounding my children. What does that mean? It means that limits exist only within the mind, and if you remind yourself that you can…then, you can and you will. My hope in creating this website is to create a place that other parents can come and get some quick tips on how to make their day to day life a little easier and to inspire someone, even one family to SEE, EXPLORE & TRAVEL with their children as much as I do.
Flying with Four is here to help you along the way to feel more confident for life with your kids. I love writing about our adventures and (mishaps), how we survive our day to day life (it is not one big vacation!), and all the in- betweens so that you can better plan and execute your own family adventures. I hope you enjoy Flying with Four!
